With only a few days notice, they help with my son 18th birthday custom cake. It was beautiful fresh and tasted delicious. I was very satisfied with they service.
I needed a last minute cake and they were able to get it done. I was able to tell them what I wanted over the phone and it turned out perfectly. Also grabbed some coffee pastries absolutely delicious!
Merritt's on Cherry Street is fabulous. We going there for our specialty cakes. They don't do fondant, but they do allow their artists to get creative with the frostings. Its not Cake Boss, but its pretty darn good.
Great prices. Quick turn around. The cake itself was exactly what my son hoped for. The cake was moist and delicious. There was a lot more cake than I anticipated. I assumed the top “bun” would be mostly frosting but I was wrong- it was mostly cake. I was shocked at how much cake we got for the price we paid. Very happy.
Merritt's bakery is incredible! I love that they don't use fondant. My daughter wanted to design her own cake this year and we submitted her photo to Merritt's and they paid attention to every single detail - from fire bubbles, to a dragon with butterfly wings, a kitty dragon, a dragon wrapping around the side and climbing up the cake to even a number 7 with flames. This team is amazing and their products are great, always quick and friendly service. We get all of our holiday cakes, just because desserts, and birthday cakes from here now. The look and joy on my daughter's face seeing her design come to fruition was priceless! The cake was ooed and awed by all. Thank you, Merritt's Bakery! You guys are incredible and we look forward to seeing you all again!
Whenever I crave something sweet, I head to Merritt's for their mouthwatering thumbprint cookies, a tradition that's been a part of my life for over 20 years, and I feel grateful to have a bakery like Merritt's in Tulsa that consistently exceeds my expectations. From my teenage years to my wedding day, this bakery will always have a special place in my heart.
I ordered two cakes, my son’s 18th birthday cake and my husband’s 50th birthday cake and both were amazingly delicious!! Everyone loved them!!!!
Great donuts - service is...dependent on who's working. Selection is obviously best when you go early. I get three things. 1. Plain cinnamon 2. A maple bar (long john) 3. A chocolate bar. Boring, yes, delicious, yes.
When I stop at Merritt's Bakery in mid-town, usually at 6:30 am on my way to work. There has not been a time when the staff at the counter have not been pleasant and helpful. The products are, without fail, so yummy and fresh. The bakery case is always full. I was asked to provide a pie and dinner rolls for our family Thanksgiving yesterday. Since I am single it makes no sense to buy the ingredients and bake, so I ordered the Caramel Apple Pie and dinner rolls from Merritt's. Out of the five pies on the dessert counter, the Merritt's pie was the first to be cut and the first to be gone within a matter of minutes. It was the best pie I've ever eaten. The dinner rolls, warmed for a bit in the oven, were soft and yummy. You can't go wrong with the goodies at Merritt's Bakery.
This was my first time visiting Merritt's Bakery. I didn't get the name of the cashier that helped me but he was so friendly. I bought a chocolate cake with whipped cream layers and it was so decadent and delicious. I appreciate that there are cakes ready to be sold. There were also smaller treats and donuts in the counters that I will have to try another time. Clean store. Slightly pricey but it is delicious and local.
